Summary

  • This stainless steel Rolex Submariner No Date two-liner is a reference 14060 or 14060M; its SWISS MADE dial and plain rehaut date it to roughly 1999 to 2007.
  • The $7,000–$9,500 auction estimate draws on watch-only forum sales of about $7,000–$8,500, WatchCharts1 and Loupe2 prices of about $9,286–$9,590, and dealer full-set asking prices of about $9,500–$11,950.
  • The exact reference must still be confirmed between the lugs, and the range is kept conservative because no box or papers are shown.

Identification

Collector guides from Luxury Bazaar3, Watch Reference Map4 and RolexForums5 dial studies say the dial marking dates the watch. Tritium 14060 dials (1990–1998) read SWISS – T<25. Transitional dials (about 1998–2000) read SWISS only. SWISS MADE two-line dials appear on late 14060 and two-line 14060M watches until about 2007, when the four-line COSC dial and engraved rehaut arrived. This watch has a SWISS MADE two-line dial and a plain rehaut, so it falls in roughly 1999 to 2007. The 14060 uses the Caliber 3000 movement; the 14060M uses the Caliber 3130, which adds hacking seconds. Both have a 40mm Oyster case, sapphire crystal, black aluminum bezel insert, 300m water resistance, and an Oyster 93150 bracelet with hollow end links and a stamped clasp.

Market

WatchCharts1 puts the pre-owned market price at about $9,590 for the 14060 and $9,560 for the 14060M. Loupe2 puts the 14060 at about $9,286, with active listings from about $6,595. Recent forum sales of watch-only examples ran about $7,000–$8,500, for example an N-serial 14060 with a 93150 bracelet at $7,000 and a 2000 two-liner at $8,250.

Auction results

A watch-only 14060M (about 2006) sold for €6,000 hammer at Crédit Municipal6 de Paris in December 2024 against an estimate of €3,000–5,000. A 14060 sold for €7,200 on EveryWatch7. Bonhams8 Paris estimated a 14060 full set at €6,000–8,000 in October 2024. Dealer asking prices for full sets are about $9,500–$11,950. Because no box or papers are shown, a conservative auction range of $7,000–$9,500 is used.
