1. Acceptance
By using Cataloger at cataloger.ai you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What Cataloger does
Cataloger drafts auction catalog lots from your photos. It groups photos into lots, drafts a title, a description, an estimate and, when you turn research on, a research report with linked sources for each lot, and exports your catalog as a spreadsheet or as an import file for auction platforms and online stores. You review and edit every draft, and nothing is published or sold through Cataloger itself.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you create an account and keep it current.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at once if someone else has used your account.
- One account per person. Accounts cannot be transferred.
- You must be at least 18 to use Cataloger.
4. Credits, plans and payment
- Drafting a lot uses credits. Every new account starts with free credits.
- Credits come from a monthly plan or from buying them as you need them. Prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- Plans renew monthly and are billed in advance. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Credits from a plan are available for that plan's period. Purchased credits do not expire while your account is open.
- When a draft fails on our side, its credit is returned to you.
- Refunds are handled case by case. Email us and we will look at it.
5. Your content
You own the photos, documents and text you add. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service, including sending them to the third-party services named in our privacy policy. You may use the drafts Cataloger produces for you freely, in your catalogs and anywhere else. Cataloger itself, its design, code and name, stays ours.
6. Drafts, estimates and research
Drafts are produced by AI from your photos and details and can be wrong. Review every draft before you use it. Estimates are indications to help you decide, not appraisals, and a research report is a starting point, not a verified provenance. Starting bids and reserves are never set by Cataloger. They are figures you choose, and an export only applies the rule you set.
7. Acceptable use
Do not:
- add content that is illegal, that you have no right to use or that infringes someone else's rights,
- use Cataloger to write misleading or fraudulent descriptions,
- probe, overload or reverse engineer the service, or access it with automated tools beyond ordinary use,
- share your account or let anyone else use it.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Cataloger available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or retire features. If a change matters to you, we say so in the product or by email.
9. Liability
Cataloger is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. Export your catalogs first if you want to keep them. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.
11. Changes to these terms
When these terms change we post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Using Cataloger after a change means you accept the new terms.
